4 Lelaki Buta & Gajah

              Once upon a time in India, there were four blind men having a discussion under a coconut grove in a big street. One of them said, " I've heard that the elephants are very big. They can even perform shows and carry heavy things!"

             Another blind man said, "How nice if we could find out what an elephant is like."

             A man riding on an elephant heard their conversation. He turned to them and said, "You wish to know what elephant is like? Well, come and touch my elephant!"

            The four blind man happily walked towards the elephant and touched it.

            One of them felt the elephant's tusk and said, "I know now that the elephant is just like a short, solid and curved stick,"

            Another felt that elephant's ear and said, "The elephant is like a very round and big fan!"

            The 3rd blind man felt the elephant's leg and said, "No, it's not like a stick nor a big round fan. It's just like a very straight and rough pole."

            The 4th blind man felt the elephant's tail and said, "What all of you have said is wrong! The elephant is just like a thin rope!"

            Each of the four blind men insisted that he was right and others were wrong, saying, "Now, I know what the elephant is like."
